Thomas Choong (Chief Executive Officer)
Dr Choong , is currently the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of elipva Ltd, an innovative e-business software, solution and services company. Thomas first setup elipva Ltd in Dec 1999, with Singapore Technologies Telemedia Communications Ltd (STTC), a member of the Singapore Technologies Group , as its major share holder. In Nov 2002, elipva secured further investment and endorsement from the Lippo Group (Allwin Asia Inc) as the second largest minority shareholder of elipva. The company has to-date established more than 50 major customers in the region, including financial services, logistics, health, telecommunications, education, services and defence. In Nov 2004, the shareholders of elipva Ltd completed a share swap with HK GEM board listed M-Dream Inworld Ltd and became a subsidiary of the HK company. Thomas is an executive director of M-Dream Inworld. Prior to elipva Ltd, Thomas spent 2 years with Sun Microsystems and assumed the Managing Director position for the Sun/Netscape Alliance, Asia South in 1999 (an entity formed between Sun Microsystems Inc and AOL/Netscape, to provide end-to end Internet and e-commerce solution). He was instrumental in leading the merger of Netscape and Sun Microsystems software business in South Asia and doubled its revenue for the region in that year. In 1998, Thomas was the Managing Director of SunSoft, an operating company of Sun Microsystems. He was responsible for sales and marketing of the full suite of Sun’s software products and services in Asia South, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Thomas has also held various regional management positions prior to Sun, he was with IBM for more than 6 years as the general manager for its emerging network computing (e-Business solutions and services) group in ASEAN, Brand and Country Manager for IBM’s new RS/6000 Unix systems business group. During his term at IBM, he has helped scored a number of firsts with his business group, surpassing Sun Microsystems as the leading Unix vendor in 1995 for Asean and the world’s first e-payment gateway deal with Citibank NA. Thomas was with Convex Computer for 2 years as the Asia Pacific Director for Sales/Marketing and was instrumental for major breakthroughs in introducing supercomputing to the new markets in Asia/Pacific with major sales in Singapore, China, Indonesia and India. He was with Prime Computer for nearly 5 years, as the Asia regional sales support manager, and with Ford Motor Company, UK as a control analyst for 2 years. In all these positions, Thomas has been involved with growing the new emerging businesses. With over 22 years of industry experience, Thomas has established a closed link with corporations in the financial, Manufacturing, Telecoms and Government sectors throughout the region. In 1999-2000, Thomas also served as a Professor (adjunct) with the University of Singapore, Engineering Faculty. Thomas graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc Engineering First Class Honours and a PhD in 1982 under the UK Science and Engineering Research Council scholarship.

| Lee Boon Kuey (General Manager) Lee Boon Kuey has over 18 years of IT experience coupled with strong technical foundation and many years of management expertise. He has worked in both multi-national corporations and local system integrators as well as founding his own e-logistics company. His roles span across technical product marketing, sales, solution architect for his start-up company, product branding, channel development, ISV relationship, and sales management businesses regionally. While serving MNCs like Apollo Computer, Mentor Graphics, Convex Computer, IBM and Mcafee, Boon has received great achievements and endorsements in the technical, marketing and sales aspect. The corporate experiences provided him with the exposure, skill and management expertise to manage a growing e-business company like elipva. Prior to elipva, Boon was the Managing Director for Mcafee Inc. for ASEAN and India, and managed a team of over 35 staff ranging from technical, professional services, channel to marketing and sales. In January 2002, Boon founded the first Asia e-logistics company that provides international fulfillment services for businesses and consumers in the USA. As a co-founder, he was instrumental in the business solution architect, company start up process, business development, design and implementation of the e-commerce web solution, and finally the successful launched of the services. Boon also held various roles in regional sales with Mentor Graphics, Convex and IBM where he was the Country Manager for the IBM RS/6000 UNIX server (now the Pseries). He also spent considerable time in industry business initiative like data warehouse, ERP and technical computing solution. Boon graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA with a degree in Engineering with major in Computer Aided Engineering.

| Jeff Chang (Director of Professional Services) Jeff Chang joined elipva Ltd in early 2005 to head the project management team for ITE (an educational institution) and our financial ERP services. As the Director of Professional Services, Jeff has since overseen projects like Ministry of Health and elipva’s professional services team. Jeff has the right expertise and proven track record in the manufacturing arena, where he actively adopts and leverages on technology for effective business model transformations to drive synergies, accelerate time-to-market delivery and to enhance customer acquisition, services and retention. His business-oriented IT experience in enterprise application, business transformation, process enhancements and change management had helped him won the Best Fab 2002 award at SilTerra, only after 15 months of operations. He was also instrumental in the planning and successful implementation of a global 3rd party logistic strategy for a manufacturing MNC (relocating a warehouse into Asia and re-engineering the consignment inventory logistics systems). Jeff is also a well versed supply chain professional with strengths in supply chain optimization, process refinement and has a proven track record in complex and fast paced environment - particularly under soft market conditions. Additionally, he has proven himself in on-time/on-budget ERP delivery and project management (full implementation cycles covering all modules, with regional roll-outs). He was also the Supply Chain Lead for a Sarbanes-Oxley project for a global conglomerate and the Project Lead of a SOX project for a local plant. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and Bachelor of Business Administration, University of Ottawa, Canada. |
